HAA Creative Economy

Today’s a big day for our Chief & Chieftess. Appearing with Mayor Annise Parker and a hand-picked group of colleagues representing Houston’s “creative class,” Josh and Tina take part in the Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) press conference to announce the findings of HAA’s Creative Economy of Houston study, conducted in partnership with the University of Houston Center for Public Policy and the Greater Houston Partnership. This first-of-its-kind study for Houston provides an important benchmark relative to other cities and compares the creative-sector industrial economies of Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami and Philadelphia. HAA has been working on gathering the data and the analysis for more than three years — and the results are impressive! Download the HAA report, look for Tina’s profile in the report and gauge Houston’s creative economy and its growth potential for yourself.
