SPOTLIGHT ON: Hungry’s Rice Village and Upstairs Bar & Lounge

02-28-2017 | News

We’re thrilled to be a part of the team to introduce the new Hungry’s Rice Village restaurant and Upstairs bar and lounge to Houston!

After 40 years of operation, Hungry’s founder, Fred Sharifi, has set the stage for the future of the neighborhood restaurant by significantly expanding its Rice Village location and introducing Upstairs, a new bar and lounge nestled among the boulevard’s stately oak trees.

The new two-story 12,000-square-foot building at neighboring 2356 Rice Boulevard can accommodate up to 350 guests – nearly tripling the size of the existing restaurant – and includes two new areas of patio seating and two new private event rooms.

Perched over the patio, the expansive outdoor terrace is the crown jewel of Upstairs. The bird’s-eye view of The Village below offers a perfect backdrop for a variety of occasions, from a casual get-together to happy hour sips under the stars.

It’s truly a must-see-to-believe destination, and once you experience it, you will make it your new go-to spot to brunch, grab a bite or unwind at the bar.

Cheers to the entire Hungry’s team!
