The “Best of the Web 2009″ online style guide published by InStyle Magazine (November 2009) is a carefully curated collection of 220 websites highlighting “everything stylish, fun and inspirational on the Web right now.” The guide features InStyle’s favorite websites in a variety of categories including fashion, accessories, vintage, beauty, home, entertaining, gifts, kids, as well as, 10 Essential Bookmarks for everything else in between.
Among the 10 Blogs & Inspiration websites recognized in the Entertaining category is Bread & Courage, www.breadandcourage.com, designed by Zulu Creative for self-proclaimed “cook and scribbler” Isabel Cowles. InStyle Magazine describes the website as “a smart culinary blog for foodies and eco-activists alike.” Other notable foodie websites on the list include 101cookbooks.com, allrecipes.com and drinksmixer.com.
