Asia Society Texas Center Grand Prix Event Recap

We had a blast last Wednesday with Asia Society Texas Center (ASTC) and Filipino Young Professionals of Houston(FYP Houston) at the Grand Prix Kick-Off Party hosted at OKRA Charity Saloon. ASTC is one of the non-profit finalists competing to win 100 percent of OKRA’s proceeds during the month of June 2014. Special guest Filipina-American Michele Bumgarner (who raced in this past weekend’s Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston) hung out and charmed fans while signing autographs and posing for photos. Guests ooh’d and ahh’d over Made From Scratch macarons and toasted to good conversation using limited-edition, international “Cheers” koozies provided by ASTC.
