Grab your friends and head out to the next Mid Main First Thursday! The evening of fun, live music, shopping and art will benefit Art League Houston‘s and our dear friend Selven O’Keef Jarmon’s 360 DEGREES VANISHING project, a beaded art installation showcasing the work of South African artisans. The March 6th event will feature a scavenger hunt in the shops along the Mid Main strip, live music by our Chief Josh Zulu, and a screening of African music videos co-curated by Rosine Kouamen, Joshua Moton and Katie Mulholland in the Art Garden. A silent auction featuring work by Randy Twaddle, The Art Guys, David McGee, Sharon Engelstein and more will take place atAlonzo Gallery and goers can enjoy South African-inspired cocktails at Double Trouble.
