Asia Society Texas Center has enlisted Mercury–The Orchestra Redefined, with director, Antoine Plante, to open the center’s major exhibition of the work of Tawara Yusaku. Universe Is Flux: The Art of Tawara Yusaku opens for the first time in Texas on June 19th and will feature the Japanese artist’s ink on paper works.

Japanese-inspired light bites and sweets will be served, along with tea provided by Té House of Tea and organic traditionally-crafted saké by Texas Saké Company. Guests will enjoy a special program of period-instrument-played contemplative music inspired by Tawara’s work and philosophy. A cash bar will also be available.
