April 2012
Hello!

We've got it all covered this month: past, present and future. We're having fun flashing back to the '80s, launching smart new websites, and looking forward to new hangouts and organic goodies to enjoy. Sprinkle in plenty of cool events and what more could we ask for? Just for you to join us, of course!

Enjoy!

Spotlight On: World Class Learning Schools

WCL New York
Not too cool for school, WCL can now stand for way cool and live! The first two of nine sites for this network of international schools have launched with reorganized architecture, striking new design and refreshed content by the Zulu team. With an enhanced user experience, the new World Class Learning Academy New York and British School of Washington sites effectively communicate WCL's corporate message, attract new students and parents, provide a wealth of pertinent information and create a better impression of the the network and each school. We're thrilled that their web presence is making the grade and becoming comparable to the world-class education their schools offer! Rollouts are ongoing and will continue into mid-summer.

Art Car Parade Retro 1986

By George Hixson

Art Car Parade Retro 1986

We love connecting the dots to design parties that hook up our clients (Phoenicia YUM) with the coolest of the cool and funky fun in Houston! Think wildly creative art cars, the crazy antics of the Urban Animals roller skating gang and join us as we flash back to the "New Music Parade," the inspiration for Houston's first art car parade, through the lens of George Hixson at Art Car Parade Retro 1986.

Hixson has been capturing the quirky and cool moments of Houston's most-loved parade on wheels for the past 25 years and has watched it grow to 250+ entries from 23 states (plus Canada and Mexico!) and a crowd of nearly 250,000.

At the artist reception, get an up-close look at art cars including the iconic Fruitmobile and rock out to The Footnotes, the first band to play the Art Car Ball. Fifty percent of the proceeds from art sales will benefit The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art.
